For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.
1 Timothy 4:10
God is the Savior of All Men
Once again, God’s Word is crystal clear – He is not the Savior of just them that believe but is the Savior of all humanity. A special salvation belongs to those who believe now, are born again, and are waiting for His return, but ultimately, all creation will be reconciled.
As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. (Galatians 6:10)
We have identical sentence structure in this passage. We are to do good to everyone, but especially to our brothers and sisters in Christ. Doing good for those who are of the household of faith does not preclude the good done for everyone. In the same way, Christ is the savior of everyone, especially of those who believe. Christ being savior especially to those who believe does not preclude Him from being the savior of the world. As a matter of fact, John the Baptist said, “Behold the savior of the world…”
If Christ is especially the savior of those who believe and because of that they are saved, then Him being the savior of the world saves the world as well.
