What about God’s justice? Will He punish all sinners?
All sinners deserve to be punished. That includes you and me because all have sinned and come up short. There is none righteous – no, not one! All our righteousness is as filthy rags before the Lord. We have all sinned and continue to do so.
The judgement of that sin occurred on the cross of Christ. God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself, not counting our sins against us (2 Corinthians 5:19). He is the atoning sacrifice for the sins of the whole world. (1 John 2:2 NIV) Christ is the atonement that appeases God for our sins. God has been appeased, assuaged, mollified for the sins of all humanity. God’s justice has been served.
Of course, it will be argued that one must believe in the sacrifice Christ made on the cross and repent for that atonement to be applied. Those of us who have been born again in this age have believed and we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe. (1 Timothy 4:10 NIV)
God our Savior will have all of humanity saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. (1 Timothy 2:3-6) After all, Christ gave himself a ransom for all.
Everyone will believe and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. (Philippians 2:9-11) The Greek, exomologeo, translated “confess” in the passage above means, to confess or to profess, acknowledge openly and joyfully, to one’s honor: to celebrate, give praise to, to profess that one will do something, to promise, agree, engage. (The New American Standard New Testament Greek Lexicon) Isaiah related it this way, “I have sworn [an oath] by Myself, the word is gone out of My mouth in righteousness and shall not return, that to Me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear [allegiance].” (Isaiah 45:23 AMP)
All of those who find themselves before the Great White Throne of God having their names not found in the Lamb’s book of life will be cast into the lake of fire where they will suffer the chastisement of the Lord for their transgressions, the sin of their unbelief being chiefest. Once their heart is refined to believe, repentance will do its work and billions will be reconciled bringing total victory to Christ.
…and he shall be [tested for purity] with fire and [sulfur] in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their [test on the touchstone] ascendeth up [unto the ages of ages]: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
Revelation 14:6-11 (Paraphrase lending attention to the rendering of the original Greek)

So, God’s justice is served, there is no call to worry about that. He doesn’t need us to make sure sinners get what they have coming. However, now that you know His justice is served, will you turn to Him and believe the message of total reconciliation?
