Why do we witness to people if there is no hell?

There is no hell, that is, no place of torment where the souls of the sinners go immediately upon their death. (See my webbook, Exposing the Hell Myth) There is a Lake of Fire, however, in which those whose names are not found in the Lamb’s book of life will be cast to be tormented (chastised and tested). This happens at the Great White Throne of God and the sinner is not cast off forever (Lamentations 3:31-33) but suffers torment in a refiner’s fire.

An individual who is reached for Jesus now, in addition to living blessed in Christ here, is saved from the great tribulation period, the Great White Throne Judgment, and the torment of the Lake of Fire. This is why we witness to people.
